EmDantes Online Music School is proudly based in the Philippines, but we teach students from all over the world. Many Filipinos living abroad choose our school because it brings them closer to home through music. Whether you’re in the US, Canada, Europe, the Middle East, or anywhere else, you can learn from our talented Filipino teachers and feel a sense of connection to your roots all from the comfort of your own home.
What is a trial lesson?
A trial lesson is a one-time class that lets you experience how our lessons work before fully enrolling. It’s a chance to meet your teacher, talk about your goals, and ask any questions you have so you can see if it’s the right fit for you or your child.
We highly recommend booking a trial before committing to regular lessons!
What can I expect from a trial lesson?
Trial lesson is 30 minutes long. As part of the trial lesson, you will be asked about your music goals.
If you’re taking guitar, ukulele, or piano lessons, you will be asked to play your instrument. It doesn’t matter if you’re a beginner or you don’t feel good yet, this is a safe place. It will be your teacher’s job to assist you.
Voice lessons often require you to sing your favorite song and vocalize. Please don’t be shy, this is the perfect place for you to practice without judgment and receive help from your teacher.
At the end of the 30-minute trial lesson, you will receive initial feedback from your teacher. We will also provide you with a written assessment after the lesson within 24 hours.
After the trial lesson, your teacher will create a customized lesson plan tailored to your level and learning ability.

What’s the best age to start music lessons?
Great question! It really depends on the instrument:
🎹 Piano, Guitar, and Ukulele – Ideal for kids aged 7 and up
🎤 Voice Lessons – Can start as early as 6 years old
To build confidence and keep momentum, we recommend two 30-minute lessons per week for beginners. Starting early with the right guidance helps kids develop strong musical foundations—and most importantly, keeps it fun and engaging!
How much do online music lessons cost?
