I am a professional singer, music educator, and vocal coach in the Philippines. As a professional classical singer, I’ve been performing in Macau for the past decade. I teach voice/singing lessons to adults as well as children with different levels of experience and interests.
As an accomplished vocal coach, my goal is to help you find your voice! Am I too old to sing?
Nope! you’re never too old to start singing.
The voice is like a muscle (actually a group of muscles), and like any muscle in your body, with good training will grow even into your 70’s. Obviously not as quick and robust as in your 20’s, but grow it will if you are willing to put in the time and effort with proper training. Em’s program will definitely help you if you’re willing to work at it!
Can you really learn to sing online?
Definitely! What you need is proper guidance from a professional voice teacher.
There are lots of “personal” vocal coaches out there who will charge you as much as $50 or $100 an hour for their time, but what does that get you? A voice coach with limited time and slow results, sometimes even undesirable ones!
An online format is better, since :
(A) it provides you a safe place if you’re not yet CONFIDENT with your singing voice. You can achieve your musical dream in the comfort of your home and also helps save time, effort, and money.
(B) You can practice without judgment or fear of embarrassment.

The idea that you have to be born with a good voice is MYTH! No one was born with a great voice! Not Regine Velasquez, Lea Salonga, or Tailor Swift! Everyone who sounds good today had to work for it. And yes, some people will have to work harder than others… but significant improvement is within reach for EVERYONE who’s willing to put in the hours & practice the right techniques.

I did not like the fact that the teacher did not finish the 30-minute trial lesson, which was paid and not free, just … More because she thought my child is not yet ready for a formal lesson. Very unprofessional.
